Lookin for some advice

Ok here's the 411.

I've been seeing this girl Sarah for 3-4 weeks. We have great chemistry and a great time.

The catch is that i used to date her roommate Kelly about 6 months ago for maybe 6 weeks. We didn't really make a good couple, so things kind of ended between us, but not on a great note. I just kind of ignored her/blew her off and eventually she got the picture. Kelly is now seeing some boy she started dating when we broke up (so ~6 months) and thinks shes in love

Fastforward to mid-november and I've started to date Sarah. Things have been going great but the reality is that her roommate is not ok with us dating. I've talked to Kelly, apologized about how it ended between, etc. She says "she doesnt care" but shes "insulted" that we're hanging out. So basically she cares and doesn't want to admit it.

Update to tonight. Sarah was all about it up until about an hour ago. When she "realized she was being greedy" and "ignoring Kelly's feelings". She pretty much just said we can't hang out anymore. Now I know, based on what she was saying just hours ago, that isn't what she wants. But she thinks its the "right" thing to do...

Not that I necessarily disagree but I've been through this situation before and dated roommates. How do I show Sarah that it can work? Need help!

Here's a question. Why are YOU apologizing for the way things ended? Did you get caught banging her mom or something? This is the sort of thing that empowers a woman over a man. STOP IT!
