OP unofrtunately or not, being a sub does not mean this is how they do or should act.
In fact the submissive has the 'power', as it is they who sets the hard and soft limits for what play will take place. Also remember that male/female submissives are split pretty evenly, aprox 50/50 actually. A female submissive can be one of the most demanding creatures on this earth!
As far as the choking thing goes, its just a popular fad at the moment. I think at the basis of this desire for some females, is the entire dominance thing. Women want to be dominated. Just on their terms, in some instances. Not doing what they demand is fine. Doing it because you feel forced to, is no different to the typical woman/victim man/predator BS that many feminazis preach.

Good response. I would still argue it's not as common as people think. Certainly I don't know anyone its happened to nor have I heard of it happening to anyone. I would say though, its probably more common in America. You guys have a lot more social issues than other developed countries.
