I have really bad lip problems beyond just the basic chapped, chaffed, and dry that responds to balm. I have tried very balm known to man and it doesn't work. They stay dry and irritated and nothing helps them. I've even been to an ENT and dermatologist and they don't know. Dentist doesn't know either. Are there any supplements, herbs, or dietary changes I could try that might improve this? Thanks.

If your ENT and Dermatologists both don't know, I doubt that anyone here would have any clue. After all, we're not the ones who went to college for at least 8 years to learn about skin. They did. :p

Yeah bro sorry, The Bishop is right. If you've been to a dermatoligst and they dont' know then I doubt anyone here will have the answer! The only thing I can suggest is to see another dermatoligist for a second opinion, not all have the same amount of knowledge...

Do you have a cold or any sickness? That might be the reason why... Maybe the balms aren't the ones for you... Try Vasaline or some special products are drug stores that may work for you.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Thanks for the feedback on this. I don't have any cold or sickness and I rarely ever get sick anyway. I've tried vaseline and a number of different brands of balm. I even tried a steroidal ointment that the dermatologist gave me but it didn't help at all.

Wait a bit longer and see what happens... Try using vasaline a couple of times for a week and then drink alot of water. There might be no vitamins going to your lips, so if you are eating random meals at random times, i recommend you eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The only thing that i can think of is that you might have burnt lips <---- i get really dry lips from being out in the sun too much. Could be that if not, i have no clue:rolleyes:

Burnt lips

Make sure your lip balm has some sort of SPF rating or use zinc creams <--- there are clear ones available or stay out of the sun.
