I'm still looking
I'm a high school senior, looking to break out of my AFC ways since spring of 2008.

Here is the deal. I do Ultimate Frisbee after school it is a good sport to play and even chicks join up for the fun. During my lunch hour I spend my time doing homework and catching up on reading for my classes in the library rather than hanging out with my buds and eat. I am in 2 AP classes and the rest are college prep classes. I don't have a lot of time after school to do all the work I have to so doing this really helps out considering I don't leave school until six on most days.

To my suprise, I noticed an HB7 doing her homework and eating at the same time while I was sitting at the table behind her. Lunch hours at our school break up into 3 different hours so she may have no friends in this particular hour. So I think to myself what a great opportunity here. She looks bored, desperate to talk to someone, and I am just the guy to fix all of that. This will definitely be good practice too since I will be approaching girls in libraries at college too. The only problem is that we HAVE to be quiet in there or them library cops will bust my ass...so I see talking will be difficult to do.

I don't know how to handle this. I was thinking of sitting at the table across from her so I can establish some eye contact and get a smile going. When that happens, I'll move myself over to her say hi and introduce myself. From there I might just say some basic fluff like what year are you and what classes are you in and stuff like that. Then I might go more in depth, start joking around and tell a random story and see how it goes.

One question I have though is should I see her everyday or every couple of days? I obviously can't talk during the whole hour, but I can still run out of **** to say if we meet up everyday like this.

Help out a fellow DJ in-training guys. Thanks.

One way you could do it, as I've read before on library gaming is to sit at her table.

When you do, after a while when you see her get bored, get some paper out and draw a naughts and crosses on it and fill in your bit and pass it to her with a smile or maybe a wink and continue playing.

This will get you noticing each other and having fun in a boring environment which is much better.

It'll be like you've saved her from all the stress and boredom.

Then once you beat her, ask her number on the paper as well. then put a smilie on the paper then leave.

Mission accomplished

Fvck it, I am over-analyzing something that should be simple. Say hey (your note idea gave me an idea, but I will not be drawing naughts  ) and roll with it. I know for a fact she will appreciate the company of me just being there. I'm not really nervous, I just want to be able to have a good convo with her and not **** this up. If I do, I'll have to start sitting somewhere else.

hehe, I've done that before (writing on a piece of paper to communicate)

It works pretty good, because its different, and theres the suspense of getting caught. Most girls like it and you write something funny, they'll try not to laugh but they end up snickering/bursting in laughter anyways and then they get hushed by the librarian.

Then I just write a little "Hehe :D your a bad girl." and then they write back "omg your the one that got ME in trouble! so mean. :p "

Something like that. I've had a few girls ask for my email/number after that too.

Why do you think you'll run out of ideas?

If you bounce of what shes saying and actually listen and engage in the conversation that wont happen.

Play a game of tic tac toe with her
