I'll be damned if I stay couped up in the house all summer.
I deleted all my porn movies. Yes, all 60GB of it. I uninstalled all my PC games (some sport games and RTS), and I actually put World of Warcraft into the microwave. I haven't played it in the longest time, but I never want to return to it. I also got rid of AIM... I figure if it's anything important they'll call me.
Next up my X-Box 360 with everything I've got for it goes on E-Bay. But I'm not posting it until I find out the shipping charges. I posted about this a few weeks ago, and it's finally sunk in that I'm not the gamer I once was. I feel that I've missed out on some great moments, only to chase down orbs on skyscrapers.
At 23 the time has come to say NO MORE. I'm good looking (every girl tells me I look like Colin Farrell, except that my hair is short, not messy). I've got a secure job and a nice car (not that it matters with meeting women). I'm smart, funny, athletic thanks to Jeet Kune Do, and people generally enjoy my company. Not that I'm tooting my own horn, but I'm going to quote a line from A Bronx Tale: "The saddest thing in life is wasted talent."
I doubt you'll find a girl who's 5'5" 110lbs with killer body who's got DD's popping out of her shirt sitting at home on a weekend watching comedy central re-runs pigging out on Doritos talking on her Sidekick. Now that's not me per se, but pretty damn close. Something on the tube, food at my PC desk, talking on AIM, most likely with some porn in the browser.
I'm better than this. I should be out like a rock star. I should have a different girl every few days. These are the years memories are made. 10-15 years from now I should look back and say those were the good ol' days. I should have stories, not as many as Walt Disney, but still... They sure beat X-Box achievements. BUT I don't except for some scattered stuff here and there.
So that's basically it in a nutshell. Today I change for the better. Wish me luck.
