1) 30 year old women are not replaced at the same pace by the 18-20 years old women due to the lower birth rate ( most developed countries are aging super fast - more old people and less young ones )
This is why living in decent city is key.

Yes, but still the aging population effect is way bigger to just be tackled by a big city

Just to give you an example, when I was in school there were like 7 classes of 30 people each . Around 200 pupils per year

Now I was looking at there are like 2-3 classes. So maybe max 100 pupils

Half the children in just like 20 years

In most developed countries, 30-40 people have higher proportion than 18-20 people

Here is an article in an unknown for me site, but if if you google "the new trend men dating older women" you would get many sites and articles.

https://www.bustle.com/life/older-woman-younger-man-relationship-tiktok-trend

The only paragraphs that you need from that article (most likely social engineering via celebs and social media):

Bullshiit social engineering. I can't imagine that 90% of men are open to dating someone 10+ years older.

Advice from the old lady:

Isn’t it interesting that many of you guys here equate the wall in your own age range. That’s because you have a hard time imagining a hot woman who is older than you or substantially older than you.

Look everyone has a “wall” but it varies tremendously from individual to individual of either gender. The posters in this thread who I most agree with on this topic are @RangerMIke and @Pierce.Manhammer and not surprisingly they are my peers, close to my same age.

What has been an interesting experience for me personally has been getting better looking over time relative to my peers. It’s a funny thing going to a 35th high school reunion and observing that you are in the top 2% of the women appearance wise, when all these other girls were “it” at 18.

But it has everything to do with lifestyle, genetics (which I am blessed to have) matter, but lifestyle matters more and more as time passes. Are you exercising, are you careful about what you consume & how much, have you avoided the sun (sun overexposure ages people faster than most anything), do you get enough sleep, do you manage stress.

My grandmother was married at 19, widowed at 43 and remarried at 61 to a man 8 years younger. Her second marriage was in 1976 and she outlived him too after 33 years together. She passed at 97 and was still striking for her age. She did not experience a “wall” insofar as her options were concerned. Both her husbands were very high value successful men, her second husband was the town’s available gentleman that all the single ladies were chasing. She used to laugh about that.

My husband thinks I look better now than I did in college. My hair is longer, my figure is leaner, and my skin remains remarkably supple. I look very similar to what I looked like in my late 20s and 30s and young people have mistaken me, with zero make up on, as their peers around 30. I look the same age or younger than my husband, who is almost 8 years younger than me (and he looks very good). We match physically.

So will there suddenly be a wall at 60? I dunno. I’m not going to stop living a healthy lifestyle and taking care of myself.

My response to the whole question of the wall is this:

Who cares? Whether a wall exists or not has zero bearing on your dating prospects. How you look after yourself and develop as a man (or not) is what determines your success. The rest is esoteric gibberish and a waste of your most valuable commodity, your time.

I remember when I was in my 20s, I thought that people (not just women, people) lost their "gloss" or something by the time they turned 30. It wasn't just physical, they seemed to lose something mentally, spiritually, emotionally also. There's a quote from The Breakfast Club, "When you get old, the heart dies".

Now that I'm an old bastard, if I look at a 30 year old women, she looks like a kid to me. Even women in their 40s can look pretty hot and youthful (to me) if they take care of themselves. Like you say, it all depends on where you are in life.

I'm about your age, and I still get excited at looking at 18 year old chicks.

If a man can't get younger women, he'll be "open" to the older chicks. There was a phase in my younger days when women my age just seemed to be sequestered out of the scene, and I ended up dating a few gals that were 5 or so years older (although they were still in their fertile window ) - but once the internet got big enough for me to learn about GeoMaxxing, I've been following the Muslim Rule, if not younger.

One of my incel friends has oneitis for a fat 3/10 >50 woman. The funny thing is my MGTOW buddy, who’s decent looking, Drove an hour & a half to bang her. Maybe there is no wall.
Clarification: These are two different guys.

You were low on options in the USA then. I don't know what you mean by sequestered out of the scene. I've never had any problems finding women slightly younger than I am. If I could not find a woman slightly younger than I am, then I would look a lot younger and take my chances with a larger age gap than go 5+ years older.

I'm thinking this happened to you at 30-35.

I'm not saying I don't. I think that's built into men for life, women that age will always appeal to you. I don't consider them a realistic option anymore though.

18-24 years old isn't very realistic after 45 unless it is some sort of directly paid relationship.

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

It's doable for elite guys. I had a 50 year old friend who was banging girls that young. I wouldn't consider him elite, but his logistics were good (he was managing a restaurant). A lot of it is whether or not you believe you can do it, and if you are accepted into their group you likely have a chance. It helps if there is a group with people of different ages in it. It's like that movie, Waiting, if you've ever seen it? The people in the restaurant partied every night after their shift, and there was a mix of age groups. In that movie they did freeze out the creepy old manager though lol. I didn't start worrying about my age until I was 48, but when I was about 52 I noticed young girls were no longer looking at me the same way.

No, this happened when in my 20s (mid '90s). The demographics of the Baby Bust were, to quote FaceAndLMS, BRUTAL, and this was before the current dystopic era of Hypergamy.

Baby Bust, eh? That's Generation X speak and you did mention previously that you were an early Gen X'er. I am an early Millennial.

I missed most of the 1990s singles scene. At the tail end of the 1990s, I started participating in the mating environment, but I was still in high school.

All things considered, Gen X'ers got a better mating environment in their 20s than the 1st half of Millennials (1981-1988 births) got in their 20s.

When I was in my 20s (covering a good portion of the 2000s and early 2010s), I did not have issues meeting women my own age. This happened in part because I lived in bigger US metro areas during that time. I may have encountered issues had I lived in some smaller areas.

I fail to see what hypergamy has to do with this. The effects of hypergamy had yet to be seen in the 1990s. Female abundance didn't become a bigger thing until dating websites got de-stigmatized around the mid-2000s and women's inboxes started filling up on OkCupid, Plenty of Fish, and Match.

Here an experiment from pwf basically shows the lack of a wall currently.

TLDR of the video - the host took pictures of his mom, aged her even more via an app and created a general, non-sexual profile. Here, like in the video with the obese girl experiment, there were a lot of highly interested guys and some of them even simped hard.

Her profile generated 1,050 likes in 48 hrs.
