So here's the deal.

In regards to my chest I recently (march-april of this past year) have started seeing big gains in my chest. I've been benching but i truly believe the gains have had a-lot to do with the amount of pushups i've been doing.

for a while my chest was lookin' NICE. my shirts were tight and i was puffed up mang. This was when i was doin pushups DAILY. I'm at the point now where i'm wondering if i need to cut back. I'm not seeing the gains i used to.

If i'm doing pushups daily will this effect my gains on the bench? Pushups have definitely jack my triceps, and i know that's helped my bench, but i'm having trouble adding more weight. My goal is to get to 10 reps at 225. Right now i'm stuck at 2-3ish reps at 185

Could this be due to my daily pushup routine?

What do you think about my home workout?

Warm-up.
Regular push-ups till failure ( increasing the number from 1 day to another)
Sit-ups
Squats
Wide grip push-ups till failure.
Bicycle
Back exercises( Y/T/W raise % "swimming")
Squats -variation (toes out & wide stance)
Triangle push-ups till failure.
Leg raise variation for abs.
1-leg bridge
Stretching

I'm too busy and probably will not go to the gym. That's that. Now, about what I can do at home this is what I've came up to. What do you think?

My last Bench day looked like this:

Bench Press 5/5/5 @ 75%/85%/95%.....(Strength)

Bench Press 10/10/10/10/10 @ 70%......(Hypertrophy)

Seated Shoulder Press 10/10/10............(Aux)

DB Shoulder Raise 12/12......................(Aux)

Tricep Pushdown 15/15........................(Aux)

I do not see the point of pushups, aside from stretching.

If you're trying for good definition and a 'pretty chest' then just train high volume chest/shoulder/tricep and maintain 5-9% bodyfat.

If you want a thick chest, either get on a strength training program (with some volume training) or start cycling celltech.
