Legitimate excuses

are legitimate excuses ok?

This one girl who i know took a good shining to me
has made it very tough to get with

She shows her attraction to me quite a bit, but
for some reason every time i plan something, it
seems to backfire for me (happens to me a lot, not
just with women).

First example: Prom. well being a junior, i could go to
prom. I gave her about a weeks notice, cause at
first i didn't want to go. Well my school, being as
asinine as possible sends out deficiencies(pieces
of paper that say if you have C- or below) the week
before prom. So my date got like 3, and her parents
grounded her from prom, which is very asinine of them
cause it affects more than her. So i waited a while, like
a month (not the best idea i know) and i planned a date.

Well she had to do a baby shower for her Moms best friend,
and a close family friend, so she was going to be busy all day
Having to work all weekend, and her leaving for NV, i was SOL
for a week, and the date.

Each excuse seems to be legitimate, but i don't know if that
should matter. Give me your thoughts/reflecions.

the basket tore and all the eggs fell and landed on the ground.
you manage to catch a few but the rest...........

Moral?

have better baskets and not one, but many of them.
decide which are made of better material and could be trusted with more of your eggs, if you cant tell which has stronger material, evenly distribute your eggs to all the baskets you have, till you do, then move your eggs

Well,
I think he means that i should have had more options, and
given taken more time, but thats not exactly what i wanted to know.

I was basically asking whether or not i should let real answers
be allowed.

lemme clarify a few things, i knew she was doing bad in school
before i asked her, so i know she was getting deficiencies,
and as for the baby shower, she answered it quick so i knew
she wasn't making something up

What i want to know is whether or not i should Next her and
move on to other chicks i'm working.

She is one of those girls that are too busy to do anything. No point in dealing with her - might as well find someone less busy.

Ahh. I get the metaphor now. While it gives him decent advice for the situation, it doesn't answer his question though.

The excuses sound legit, my friend. And things happen. I'm sure things have come up in your life that have caused you to miss out on other activities you'd rather be doing. That's life.

But, she's cancelled on you twice. It's not her fault, but she still isn't available a lot of the time. Maybe you should find some girls you can actually get a hold of every once in a while. Don't next her completely, though. Move on to other girls, but keep your options open with her. Jut don't be left waiting on her. Life's too short.

From now on, like I think UnexpectedTeen said, you shouldn't put all your eggs in one basket. Always have a back-up in mind, not just for girls, but for life. I wouldn't sky dive without the main chute and the back-up chute.

Thanks BWSL thats exacltly the answer i need,
i am working on 2 other chicks that i work with,
but one lives like an hour away from me, (mountains
that go behind the city), so thanks for all your
advice
