Leather jackets still in style?

I've been noticing more and more leather jackets out and about. Especially some celebrities these days, bringing back the "vintage" ones. (Denis leary comes to mind). Anyway, I think it's a pretty cool look, and I'm sort of looking into getting one.

Are they in "style" for my age (I'm 18, entering college now).

Leather jackets are classic and never go out of style. Maybe certain styles of leather jackets, but not leather jackets themselves. I have 2, though it's rarely cold enough in SoCal to wear them.

It's always fine to wear a leather, especially when they aren't 'in fashion', hehe. It's the late 80s revival atm, so yes, that's all back in atm.

I agree. They are definitely classic. As long as your weather is cool enough for it, go for it.

I live up north so I wear them in the fall and early spring.

Leather jackets arent tied to some era (80s) at all, they are timeless.

There are just 80s-esque greaser leather jackets however. I wouldn't get one of those.

Get something classy and you're fine, I'm still looking for a leather jacket of my own.
