I'm a skeptic by nature. But I am not closed-minded. When I am wrong, I own it. After reading every single Hall-of-Fame post (some twice) and most of the DJ Bible, I see clearly that I have been wrong in my approach to women. Dead wrong.
To those DJs who wrote those hall-of-fame posts, I want to thank you. I'm not going to get all mushy about it; a simple thanks is all.
I don't need to regurgitate all the stupid things I did (but there were many) to screw up opportunities and relationships. I know now what I did wrong. And, after all my recent reading, I now have the knowledge and the motivation to implement this information, which proves you CAN teach an old dog like me new tricks. I have already put into action a few of the DJ tips I've read, and I could see the difference it made right away. Or, to put it another way, I could see how off-track I'd been all of my adult life.
For anyone reading this post who is new or hasn't done the requisite homework, I recommend you read what the successful DJs have to say and take their advice to heart, because it is spot on. You don't want to slam your head against the wall for as many years as I have done. If only the Web had existed when I was in my 20s...hey, it didn't. But it does now, so you have an opportunity that I didn't have--so make the most of it!
