I have been reading about body language all week. the gurus say when conversing with someone - to not lean in or "peck". I found that I had to do this last night at the bar because it was literally so loud that I could not hear. I mean - I don't know why showing dominance makes me feel like a social robot - but if I have to worry about stuff like that then I do feel like a social robot. I don't really care if leaning in is "submissive" - cause I have good self-confidence. I mean if I wanna hear a girl then I want to hear.

instead of leaning in, stand by her side, look at the crowd ... but make sure u turn your head every now and then to show her that your listening.

The whole purpose of leaning away is to lure her into you. It's done in a way that's so smooth the girl doesn't realize that she's leaning towards you to speak.

In a bar situation, I usually start the conversation off with me saying something, then immediately pulling away a bit so that she has to lean in to tell me her response. At this point, I continue leaning away, and say my next statement which forces her to remain pulled into me.

If she continues this for a couple of exchanges, I reward her by leaning in a little. If she responds well to me leaning in, then I'll try to kiss close. Sooner the better.
