In DYD, de Angelo gives the advice of smiling and laughing less often, which contradicts the advice given in this site.
I think that if you don't smile or laugh you could come off as boring or intimidating, or both.
I don't really know why deAngelo came up with this idea.
Or perhaps I am wrong and there could be some truth behind his affirmation.
What do you guys think about this?

I find laughing and smiling is better.

Today for example, I smiled at every girl I walked by. Every single one smiled back and said a greeting. If I didn't smile, that wouldn't have happened.

I think what he is trying to say is that there is a difference between a clown and a dj. A clown is always trying to please everyone. A dj is trying to create an aura that says I can please anyone and then has the ability to focus on a target. I like to smile, laugh, and have a great time so I do it, but I make sure I dont look like an idiot. Use your own descretion, do what you want and make sure you realize how your actions reciprocate themselves.

laughing/Smiling Less

Well, where I came from, its just big difference, David D is correct, Smiling will make someone smile, or feel gratitude, but keeping a straight face works better. Smile Less, and don't laugh at your own jokes are always the thing that cracks up. If you have read the Weapons of Mass Seduction you'll find it amazing. You'll even ask your self how did you do it.

Quote from a woman:

" In fact, smiling is half the battle so don't be shy to show her those Crest enhanced teeth of yours.

By smiling you will appear happy which shows that you are having a good time and are comfortable in your surroundings. This will rub off on those around you and open up the "vibe" which makes it easier to score. "

smile when you greet people/talking to them/ or if you have a reason to, such as thinking good thoughts. dont smile 24/7 obviously...as you'll come of as a weirdo.

but be careful with smiling too much, you'll come off as a softie...or pvssy for that matter. Smile when you should, not whenever you can.
