i went out with a couple of buddies to drink and our mindset was to pick up chicks. As the night went on, one of my buddies tells me “since you’re the alpha, you get the alpha chick and I’ll settle for the beta chick since I’m a beta male”

So, my question is; do people recognize who you are?

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Frame gives it away, on a conscience and unconscience level.

Alpha chicks turn me off. Being alpha, is inherently masculine.

So if there’s a group of girls, would the alpha girl be the most attractive?
Or what would the definition for an alpha female be?

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

The one leading the group and the one the others follow. Pretty simple really. The one who when she voices her opinion all the others agree with it even if they don't.

I can understand that portion. But what qualifies the woman as the alpha? Since women are usually based on their looks would it generally be the most physically attractive one?

Alpha chicks are usually ugly, they are alpha (see loud, confident, aggressive) because they are ugly, bitter and jealous.

Alpha chicks can fvck right off. Give me the hot, calm, dainty chick that doesn't want to glass someone in a bar any day.

They might work at Home Depot or fight in the UFC until their daddy returns, then they start crying.

Disagree here. Alpha is about confident frame, knowledge, mentality, personality, and the ability to make things happen. Not looks, or being loud and agressive.

I put the female alpha characteristics in brackets, I know it's not looks, let's face it most alpha women are not HB9-10s

An Alpha mindset has nothing to do with looks. It’s an internal mentality/personality that comes in All the different exterior looks.
Think of it as the car motor thats available in a variety of different models…

Why wouldn’t someone want an alpha female? This seems great if a female were that, and if I’m on that level as well. Power couple.

What he was trying to say is that he would go after the fat/ugly chick, while I go after hot one

Well, he’s either insecure or he obviously thinks your SMV is higher than his…

Don't over simplify the alpha/beta concept. Rollo talks about this allllll the time. It's not an either or dichotomy.

As for your friend, men will automatically pick up on hierarchical structures. Initially it's just based on physical size, who could destroy you physically, but other factors come into play as well. Success, clothing, intelligence and of course just your body language. Your "aura". I've had a few close friends who I consider equals sort of acknowledge my "alphaness" in comparison to themselves over the years. It's weird, because I don't think about myself as in a hierarchy, although we are by default. Just take it as a compliment, basically. Your friend sees you as authoritative and a leader. Someone to admire.
