Hey guys, recently I've met a group of three Chinese girls with my friends. After about four outings with all six of us, I got the impression that one of the girls is interested in me (lot's of eye contact, always sitting next to me, always offering me to try her drink, the other girls making jokes about the two of us being together). So, one day I ask her out to see a school performance that most of the highschool has been talking about during the week. Only thing was that she didn't understand my English and didn't figure out that it was a date, and invited her friends and my friends along as well. 'Cause the thing is, she has the worst English speaking skills of the three, and the other two have to basically translate what I say whenever I talk to her. So, I'm wondering how I can get with a girl that can hardly understand me? Anyone have any experience with something like this?

So I've been living in China for 2 years now. So some advice, her reading skills and writing are probably 10x better than her speaking skills.
So get that number and text her. You'll find she can be much more responsive through this, and Chinese girls are known for being shy so it'd be easier for her to talk through messages.

If you really want to impress her, learn about China, the culture, ask her where she's from and research that place. In China, every province is different, each province speaks different, has different food, etc.

And download an instant messenger program called "QQ" you can find it on im.qq.com. Nearly 90% of Chinese people use QQ. It's like China's facebook. Then one day say, hey do you have QQ? Can I get your QQ number? She'll be so surprised. Then you two can chat on that outside of class.
