Krav maga

Anyone training on krav maga here?

My company has special agreement with some accredited krav maga teachers and I was wondering if is worth to give it a try,I'm completely ignorant about it and most of all wish to know how does it work and if it's different or more effective compared to other disciplines as sambo?

Never even heard of it until How I Met Your Mother. My personal thinking is, any are good if you stick with them. Especially if you can get a deal from accredited teachers. Go for it.

Very worth it.

Most practical fighting style. Vigorous work out. Lots of "real life" situations.

Many will argue that Jitjitsu, or something like that is the "best" fighting style, but Krav Maga is by far the most effective for the common person.

I've seen it. I wasn't massively impressed overall - but your mileage will vary. Try and look for something with actual full contact sparring - which will also help with fitness. Some Krav Maga may offer this.

In my experience the whole 'realistic' fighting is largely a gimmick. Especially if it involves any fine motor control or moves too dangerous to practice against a resisting opponent.
