Killing "three" birds with one stone by going to a gym!

Although alot of this may seem obvious to many, I will post it again!

Going to the gym is an excellent adventure and is important to your physical, mental and social health!!

1. Going to gym and working out (either cardio or weights) gives you a better physique and confidence (this one is a no brainer)

2. For all of those with some mental health issues (I.E Anxiety, Depression, etc) Excercising has been scientifically proven time and time again to significantly alleviate mild to moderate depression. Who needs medication and therapy when you have the gym?

3. Most gyms have some eye candy to look while you are working out. Who is to say you cannot get a great date out of it. My friend met his current g/f at the gym and they have been dating for about 5 years!!

As long as thats not your primary reason to go to the gym its tolerable !

I've never approached a girl at the gym, except when I told an employee she had pretty eyes and of course a pretty woman in her mid-to upper 30's came over once to tell me what I was doing wrong on a particular machine.

Other than that though, I just focus on the first 2 reasons! Very good reasons to go to the gym.

Last but not least, how do you talk to girls at the gym? I never feel right being all sweaty, not dressed well and never having anything to say except for something obvious.

I can't talk to girls at the gym.

When I've just finished a set of squats... there is no blood in my brain, and anythign I say comes out as:

"bashd blha ughh...."

I've made eye contact with some chicks at the gym; smiled and then I wait for her reaction to me next time I see her. If she avoids eye contact, I just received my answer.

If your mainly hitting the free weights, this isn't always that great.

First off, during your workout, it should be hardcore all the way. That means keeping focus throught the WHOLE workout session. Treat it as if you have one hour to work your body to the EXTREME, to massacre your muscles to the point where you will not only discomfort them, but you will FORCE, that's right, FORCE, them to ADAPT and GROW. Your muscles are lazy. But you will KICK THEIR ASS INTO GROWTH!!

I don't know about you, but when I am in this mindset, women really don't occupy my mind. And after a workout, I'm often so filled with raging testosterone or exhausted that all I want to do is go home and start eating.
