Yeah, this guy was talking alot of stuff to me in Math Class and I was pretty much ignoring most of class, but then at the end of class, when this dude purposefully hit me with his backpack, I wen't from calm to aggressive and I was about to kick the guys ass, until this one senior dude broke it up and told me, "Calm down man, it's not worth it.". I want to stand up for myself, but instead of keeping my cool with these people, I let their ignorance get to me and become pissed off. I could go on and on, but the main point of this post is that I want to know how to stand up for myself and act tough, but keep my cool and not an in aggressive, ignorant way. I want to know how to be tough and ****y, but still be able to keep my cool and not give in to these guys.

Anger lies in the bosom of a fool

Not sometimes, not occasionaly, not often but ALL the time!
Anger removes logical thinking, so just know when you are angry that whatever you are thinking while under the influence of that emotion is the wrong thing to do! That fact alone has always been enough to keep me calm!

Secondly all you had to do what let homey know to watch his book, it a decent, calm, but DIRECT manner!

My Grandfather never raised his voice, or lose his cool ever in our presence growing up but when he spoke we knew he meant buziness.

Losing control doesnt show you mean business it just means you lost control, nothing more nothing less!

just kick the guy's ass.

you're in highschool, as long as you don't get carried away and send the guy to a hospital, the most you will get is a suspension. it's better to kick the sh!t out of him for a bit, sit a few days out of school, then to put up with that sh!t the whole year around. make no mistake, "keeping it cool" when someone is taunting you just makes it more fun to taunt you cause you take it like a b!tch.

You listen to this foolishness if you want too!

The worse thing that can happen is not suspension, it's death! Thats the worse possible thing that can happen, and if you don't believe me turn on your tv and watch the news!

Fighting for survival is what smart men do, risking your survival just to fight is what men who aren't smart do!

Ah I forgot, if you kick someone's ass in hs, a hurricane will come and knock over your house. Look, unless the guy whose ass he's kicking is in a gang or something, it'll end with that fight. Bullies thrive on people with passive behaviour, and ignoring that sh!t is just gonna encourage him. Calmly kick the sh!t out of the guy, and he'll learn his lesson.

But feel free to listen to this Royal Elite (and his scary grandfather) if you wanna be that dude's b!tch all year around. Long way to go till summer break.

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.

From personal experience in HS....I never had to put up with any more crap from this one punk after I kicked his ass in the gym locker room. Typically I wasn't the kind of guy to pick a fight, but hey, this camel can only carry so much straw.

Unfortunately gangs (or weapons) are too common nowadays and you can win a fight, but it will lead to you being terrorized even more.

I was picked on heavily at school by gangs and endured their torment for years. I did stand upto them, but got my ass kicked every day for months after.

As pathetic as it sounds, the best move I ever made was telling a teacher I was being bullied (well, actually the teacher forced it out of me). Obviously it depends on your school's policy towards bullying, but I was lucky and they dealt with it very strictly and I never had any hassle again.

I agree with MOM that bullies need to be confronted, but sometimes it's better to get a teacher or adult to confront them on your behalf. The most powerful people in the world are not the alpha males or the men with the most brute force, they're the smart ones who know how to get other people to work for them. :)

yeah kick his motherfuccing ass, but if he is a gang member, tell the teacher, parents, or cops.....

BUt if you could humiliate this person in front of everyone, maybe things will go your way. Battles are not always physically won, also mental.

Well I'm here to tell you there is such a magic wand. Something that will make you almost completely irresistible to any woman you "point it" at. Something guaranteed to fill your life with love, romance, and excitement.
