Hey all...

I've read tons of advice and comments here regarding diet and the major three excersises. It appears Warboss knows his sh!t... I wish I could do what he preaches but I don't think I will be able to devote so much time and energy into it.

My question is, can one still see gains without eating like a horse? I do plan to up my food consumption considerabley, but not as much as recommended. I don't have the time to plan such meals, much less eat six times per day.

I'm 5'8", 170 lbs. My goal is to gain ten to fifteen pounds by next spring. Is this feasable or will I be trying to revive a dead horse with a stick?

a one-hour workout three times a week can get you pretty far, especially if you focus on the big three.

eating 6 times a day shouldn't be that much trouble. I assume you already eat 3 times a day. You need to add a meal after working out, another one in late evening, and one other one (maybe liquid) during the day.

A meal doesn't have to be a "meal". You're not eating steak and potatoes here. It's just calories. It could be some milk and and a fruit cup, who cares? Just get food in your stomach so your body isn't sitting idle.

I'm with EFFORT, the more you put in the more you get back. So you might as well do it right.

If you're going to give advice to do it right tell him to eat more than some milk and a fruit cup.

We already know he's not going to do it right since he's not even starting out with the right mindset (willing to work for what he wants) so this thread is pointless.

Okay the milk and fruit cup was a bad example.

This is a bit better for an afternoon snack (not a meal);
4oz. tuna
peanut butter sandwich on whole wheat (I like flax or 12 grain) bread
an apple
a cup of yogurt
a bottle of water to wash it all down

Durden, you're only going to get your 15lbs if you work at it.......... hard!!!!

Pointless thread? :( It's a question...

Can one moderatley gain weight over the course of 6 months without going balls to the wall? My thought was I may not gain as much but I would gain some. I'm not in pursuit of a HULK like figure, only beef up a little or is 10 to 15 lbs not a little?

mrRuckus was just making a point that you don't really seem too dedicated to reaching your goals. Gaining 15lbs of LBM isn't easy, and if you're not prepared to make some sacrifices and put your blood, sweat, and tears into it than you're beyond help.

Unless you're extremely genetically gifted and use steroids, than you will never come close to a hulk like figure.

you must go balls to the wall during workouts for them to be meaningful. my point was that the time commitment should not be an issue, though dedicaiton & energy commitment may yet be.
