New to forum. I always have alot to learn, and want to pass on what I've come across. Just like to pass off an interesting exchange that just happened.
In my job, I walk around the building (public setting) every so often to keep an eye on things. Picking up women is not a part of that.
Walking around, there was a woman sitting on the bench reading. (A woman I'm not interested in picking up, but attractive) I walk past, say nothing. End of story.
Next hour, I walk around building. Same woman on same bench reading. In deep tone, I say "Hi, how are you?" while making eye contact. She makes eye contact with me, smiles, and says, "Fine, how are you today? I'm just sitting here studying for.............."
and we talk for several minutes.
Just goes to show you how much people miss out on by not speaking up. Before I got into pua, I would always wait for an IOI from a woman. Alot of times that first IOI never comes until you just say something as simple as hi.
Hope this helps someone.

It's amazing right? I've done the exact same thing recently. I was on the bus going home from class and I just turn to this girl and ask her how her semester was going so far. Never seen the chick before but we had a pretty long conversation just from that. Another time I was at work and I say to this girl: "so how'd your day go?" and me and her have a super long conversation, it's really more simple than most people make it.

Simple yet highly-effective advice. Spot on and it can brighten your day and someone else's just as easily. You never know who the next person out and about will be that you speak to. They might start sending plenty of IOI's and be really into you or they might offer you a job while watching a football game or whatever it is you find yourself doing. I've gotten a number at a bus stop doing just this.

This is my wallpaper, "A simple hello could lead to a million things". Sounds gay, but not if I'm balls deep.
