I just got it in the mail today. I can't wait to go sarging with this gimmick.

Does anyone know how you perform a reading? I mean I can't just go up to someone and ask them to write me a novel in cursive. LOL..

To my knowledge I guess I have them write a few letters? I'm flat out confused.

If you can help please reply if not sayanora! :D

Wasn't this one of Ross Jefferies big gimmicks?

He had a site with loads of info, but I don't know whether it's still going.

I think his line was simply, 'hey, just got this really neat thing for handwriting, and I can tell you all about yourself, can I practice on you, it'll be fun'

or something less corney.

Ross Jeffries did endorse it, but it wasn't one of his gimmicks, or at least it wasn't original. The Grapho Deck is by Bart Baggett and it is a set of cards, the size of playing cards, each one has a handwritting analysis/graphology trait that can be commonly found in people's writting. By using the deck, it becomes easier to learn some of the most common characteristics in the writting of people; it is another prop to get you to communicate with more people and to offer something interesting when you meet strangers.

I suggest you pick some of the most common traits and learn/memorize them, and use them with anybody you know. Don't ask them to write single letters. Tell them to write a specific sentence that you make up, wich will have the letters you are looking for (like letters t, o, y, e, etc.) in cursive writting and you'll be on your way.
