Careful there. If you come across as desperate, you'll be in trouble.

You don't NEED a girlfriend right now. You will always need GOOD women in your life (I think we all do), but not a girlfriend. If you start thinking you NEED one, you're going to give up some things just to get one... things that you might not want to give up...Maybe even if few things you SHOULDN'T give up.

I know you're kind of kidding, but my post is just a reminder, cause sometimes when we joke, we start almost believing the joke as the truth.

See, I think the problem is (in my life, anyway) there are so few women that I spend any time with, so if I go through a relationship, and it doesn't work, it's really tough to find another GOOD woman. I've tried getting female friends, and except for a select few, I'm out of options for now, at least as far as what I look for in a healthy relationship. It sounds crass sometimes, but "the backups" seem to be few and far between. Right now I'm in a very healthy place as far as relationships go, and I just pray that I can last this summer, and keep my somewhat healthy perspective in tact.
