If you are at a University, a great way to get over your fear of rejection is to join some kind of organization that needs signatures from random passersby. I joined an environmental organization and just found out how easy it is to approach people. I also found that when they rejected me, it was kinda fun because I honestly knew that they felt guilty while I felt good. Do this, it's the easy way out.
