Right, hello.
I myself have some excess fat I'd like to take care of and the best way to do this is cardio right? So jogging. I have done some jogging in october and it really felt great but quite soon it gor very cold, and once when I went jogging at night and it was cold, and I had a hard time breathing after that, probably because of the cold air I had inhaled. So I scratched jogging for a while.
But I'd like to get back to it now, but what's the best way to go jogging when it's pretty cold outside (I was thinking temperatures of 0 to 10 celsius, the bottom line would probably be -5)? Put on a sweater, maybe a windjacket? What about the cold air you inhale?
And also, what are other ways of losing fat and/or doing cardio in the winter when it's fairly cold outside?

This is strange, whenever I wnet running, even in winter I ended up still sweating. Usually it's the extremeties that are cold at first.

I would wear thin gloves and a wooly hat. I gues the trick is to speed up a bit:D To be honest, you get used to it after a year or two:D

I would not run on frosted pavements, it's an accident waiting to happen. What about switching to swimming, treadmill or nordic on the really cold days.

You need gear that 'wicks' the sweat away from your body while still keeping you warm. I bought a long sleeve turtleneck from Sportmart the other week that works perfectly when I ride my bike in the winter. Yeah, I ride my bike in Minnesota in the winter to keep fit. Hey, it works...

Runners can wear the same clothing as cyclist and actually it should be a bit easier runners have less wind resistance to contend with than cyclist so you shouldn't need nearly as much clothing. Just remember to dress in layers. Keep the wicking layer against your body, then put on an insulating layer and on to a wind/weather resisting layer.
