Arrgh, confused.
normally i dont help someone unless i like them or they've helped me in the past.
last semester i had this classmate i was alright with. then far into the break (january) he emailed me asking if there were any openings at where i work. im a graphic designer here and he wants to get into the field, the dude told me in his email he was sick of his job at best buy. i asked my boss and he said there were no openings, so i told him. i also mentioned unpaid internships were available.
That was the last email i sent the guy. and that was the last i heard from him.
now today my boss says there's an opening and told me to check with the guy. Should i bother with him? or possibly try one of my female acquantances.
the thing with the guy was that the only reason he'd talk to me was if he needed something. and disapointingly people like this aggravate me.
should i not tell him at all? or tell one of my female acquantances (who also once inquired about job openings)?
