I am wary of anything with the word "lube" in it.

The "jiffy" part is not comforting either.

iHop it is

One thing that really sux about jiffy lube...i assume you will be changing the oil on cars in the pit below the cars...there is an incredible amount of heat being radiated off the exhaust & transmission of each car. You can bake in one of the pits after a few hours especially in the summer underneath those cars...

Let's look at it another way.....Which would impress a girl more?

They guy who can change her oil....or the guy who carries plates and scrapes up quarters?

Go with Jiffy-Lube, I'm pretty sure you'll make more money & it's a lot less embarassing when your friends stop by your job.

i was thinking about the money kind of, i went to the interview and they are gonna pay me $7.75hr

on the other side ihop pays me $3.30hr plus tips, lets say that i do like 25 servings a day and each of them leave at least $2 thats $50 for the day in tips plus &3.30hr lets say i work 7hrs a day thats $23.10 plus the $50 of tips thats $73.10 i made in one day, that times 11days or 10 (lets go with 10) in 2 weeks would be $731 in 2 weeks .

On the other hand at jiffy lube i get $7.75hr working like 35hrs a week thats $542.50 in 2 weeks .

Thats why im going with ihop...

To get 25 tables a day youre gonna have to work all day or be busy as sh*t. Usually youll get more than $2 each tip. $50 a day for serving tables will piss you off cause youll be busting your ass for bad tips. Youre pay check wont be much cause of this little thing called taxes. 10 days...12 hrs each day...not gonna happen unless youre about to be living on the street. Im sure you would make decent money, but its not exactly how you think it is.

At jiffy lube you'll be stuck in a pit changing freakin' oil all day. If its raining, you're cold. If you enjoy exhaust fumes...by all means....go to Jiffy Lube.

At ihop, you'll be chatting with customers all day. You'll be socializing...you actually may have some female co-workers.

Create self-fulfilling prophecies. Always assume the positive. Assume she likes you. Assume she wants to talk to you. Assume she wants to go out with you. When you think positive, positive things happen.
