Hi Guys I'm 16 and I have decided to start lifting weights. I've been starting to lift weigths for 2 months now and I've gone from 104lb to 105lb... I try to do my best in every workout but I only see muscle development, but no weight gain (I'm an extreme hardgainer)
I do the same routine every workout
I workout 3 days a week: monday, wednesday, friday
This is my routine:
Dumbbell Chest Press:
25lb on each hand: 3 sets of 15-20 reps
Dumbbell Chest Fly:
10lb on each hand: 3 sets of 15-20 reps
Push-ups:
3 sets Until Failure
Forearm Destroyer:
20-25lb on each hand: 3 sets of 10-15 reps
I notice that whenever I curl the weight it doesnt go straight up and down because it's too heavy? Should I use lighter weights so the curling motion is straight?
Lateral Raise with Dumbbell:
10lb on each hand: 3 sets of 10 reps
Dumbbell Bicep Curl:
10lb on each hand: 3 sets of 10 reps
Ray Tricep Pressdown Using Cable Machine:
3 sets Until Failure
So what do you think guys? Too much sets? I don't have a barbell in my gym or bars so I can't do any bench press, dead lifts, or pull-ups. I am only limited to dumbbells and a machine. Is my workout efficient?
I want to gain more weight, is eating a lot of pizza a good way to consume massive calories and gain weight?
And I am scared to do ANY cardio because I have fast metabolism and afraid that I will lose calories.
Massive advice needed!!!
