Is it cool to take a Japanese girl to a Japanese restaurant on the first date?

I'd like to do this in order to coerce her to drive to my little town as there is an awesome Japanese restaurant right next to my house. hehehe

Take away the word Japanese and you are left with the real question at hand:

"Is it cool to take a girl to a restaurant on the first date?"

I am sure you can get more creative then 90% of the guys who take their girl on the first date for dinner and a movie.

I don't see a prob with taking a girl to dinner...Plus that's what we already talked about last night. I just have to call her in a couple hours to set up the meeting point. And it's freezing ass cold out where I live now, what the hell are we gonna do play mini golf LOL

Mini Golf = Fun action date. You get an opportunity to show her how to golf properly touch her (kino) and tease her how she plays golf. You two will have alot of fun.

Dinner = slow predictable date. You are going to sit down and talk and talk and talk. Eventually she will get tired of the questioning and that is when you two get to eat and have all those akward pauses because you ran out of stuff to talk about.

Sitting down and talking too much on the first date gets boring pretty fast.

my god! I just got back from the finest date in my life ! This girl was awesome! OK, it started off rocky... we were supposed to meet up at Giant but there are 3 friggin Giants in the area and she got lost so I had to drive around to 3 places to find her.... but whatever.

We scrapped Glory Days and went to Fast Eddys. It's a bar/club Pool hall type place. We got a booth and sat side by side. By the time the appetizer was halfway done, we were making out in the booth! Dayum it was great. So we kept kissing all throughout dinner.
