Red blood isn't much of a problem. Probably hemorrhoids or you're wiping too much.
Dark blood in the shyt is more of a problem, because it indicates that there's a problem further up your intestines. Like polyps or cancer

If its just a little bit of blood, than its an anal fissure, meaning you got a small cut or popped a very small blood vessal in your anal cavity. If probly only stings for a bit with an anal fissure. If you have hemmorhoids it generally hurts a lot more. Trust me I have been battleing a hemmorhoid problem right now for about all most a month except for like a week where they stopped. Any one else have hemmorhoids this long, cause I am having problems getting rid of them, I am drinking plenty of water, plenty of fiber, using stool softeners like crazy, and using all kinds of creams and wipes, and they wont go away in fact sometimes the irratation is unbearable. Anyone have these problems, if so, for how long and what did you do to cure them.

You may have polyps. If this is this case check it out. Polyps left untreated lead to bowel cancer. tell the docotor and they will shove a camera up your ass for about 200AUD.
If you ignore it, you will get anemic, then possibly get bowel cancer.

Maybe you've been having shyt that's too hard. Try taking a laxative with a stool softener. You can get those over the counter at any drug store. You may also try increasing your water intake as well--when your intestines dont have enough water in them, you'll have hard, dry shyt which will cause that also. I had the same problem that you had and it scared the hell out of me!!!!!

I had this problem a while ago. I would poop like normal but when i wiped.. it just blood!
I got lightheaded by just the sight of this stuff. I don't know what it was. I think my diet may have had something to do with it as i wasn't living the healthiest of lifestyles at the time.
Anyway, things just went back to normal after about 3 or 4 days.
It happened to me again about a year later. But the same thing happened again.
I haven't had this problem since. But i doubt it's anything to worry about.

Like I said before, when it happened to me, I freaked the hell out because I know I wasnt doing anything to be bleeding form my azz. I know now that my diet was what was doing it--you see, I was working a lot and taking in TONS of caffiene each day around the clock in the form of Mountain Dews and eventually became constipated. When I was able to go to the bathroom, there was a lot of shyt and blood in the toilet. I was so freaked that I went to the hospital just to see if I was OK--that's when the doctor reccomended that I take stool softeners w/ laxative. Then I started reading different literature and found out that high caffiene intake and little water intake can lead to dehydration which can cause bloody shyts as well.
