I go to my African American Studies class focused on my work and not trying pick up anyone really. The girls that i were attracted too had way too many guyfriends and boyfriends so I decided to leave them alone and the other ones aren't really that attractive to me. I'm friendly to all the girls that flirt with me in class, but I don't really ask for their numbes or stuff like that. (Just trying to keep it friendly like I would with any other class member!) Then after a few weeks they completely stop talking to me.

To people who say girls make great friends are bull****ing! Girls never want to be friends with someone that they're attracted to period! They either want BF's or emotional tampons for the attention! (Guys you don't settle yourself into this BS either.):D

Congrats Toby, you figured out of the truisms that apply to both sexes. Neither sex can truely be friends with someone they're very much attracted too.

Either they both like each and don't know it until later, or one likes the other that way.

you're absolutely right tobby. Experience from my afc days to now...all i can say is if a girl is attracted to you, her IL in you will be high. That means she takes the time to learn more about you and come to you for advice. Advice = seeking your validation (not on guy problems, but particular things they know the answer to but pretend like they dont).

If a girl doesnt want to be your friend (or you to be her ugly girlfriend). She wont spill her guy problems to you or ***** about stuff. And they will try their best to impress you and allow you to be leader. Altho they may categorize you as a friend and call you a friend, you know and they know that they secretly want you.
Call it attention seeking if you will, but naturally all girls want attention from someone they admire, particularly the guy they like.

As long as you're natural and dont act like a girl (or gay), i see no problem become friends with them.

that's why such things as FWB exist (whether it may be cuddling/(french)kissing/sex), if they werent attracted to you they wouldnt even agree to it!

Girls are masters at acting. each girl have their own definition of 'friend'

Don't always be the one putting yourself out for her. Don't always be the one putting all the effort and work into the relationship. Let her, and expect her, to treat you as well as you treat her, and to improve the quality of your life.

I agree, often in these kind of friendships. There's normally 1 person that has the hidden agenda and secretly wants to get into your pants.

I've also come to a conclusion that if a girl categorizes you into a friend (as i described above). Usually it's to keep you around in her life, they dont want to feel dumb or rejected if they make a move...so often they'll stick around and be your friend and wait for the moment when the guy feels its time to make a move.

Frienship is a consolation prize for one of the members of the opposite sex.
