While most women can easily find matches with men they’re interested in, the app presents a much more challenging environment for men. This difference is most evident in swiping patterns. While women swipe more than men overall, they are far more selective when doing so. Women swipe yes to just one in 20 people while the majority of men swipe yes more often than no.

I’ve never had trouble getting matches when I did OLD. I had problems with it moving away from the app to dated a lot of times. They’d never write back, or they’d drop off suddenly after a few messages, or they’d give you their number and chat but you couldn’t set up a date with them because they’d be dodgy.

my experience is worse than this:

“Accordingly, it would take a typical man almost 6,000 swipes over two nearly months to score a date.”

If I get to 1 date every 3 months that’s about right. The good news is that at least in my area once were at the date stage I’ve a 99.9% to close the deal.

OLD is for younger guys frankly. I’ve only ever used bumble and tinder.
