Without understanding the proper context, this is meaningless.

AI has helped make programmers more efficient which has reduced the need for entry level/junior devs.

However, most of the reasoning is that companies vastly over hired during the pandemic and the days of free money but once it was over, they realized that many of the developers they hired literally were doing nothing and they started cutting positions and getting rid of projects that were not profitable or didn't really fit with the direction they were pivoting post-pandemic.

Software development jobs for quality engineers are not going anywhere anytime soon. Anyone who says otherwise is living in Fantasyland.

The impact of Quantum AI and General Intelligence is not comprehensible, we can at least somewhat quantify the loss AI has generated but nobody really knows where we are headed here

I worry whether AI robots in the future will take most of our jobs away...as a result the whole populace will rely on the government on welfares and there will be social unrest due to the lack of productivity.

Lol...not to sound like a doomer....but that's where were headed.

How will a man be able to show a woman that he is a good provider if he's on welfare because the robots are doing everything?

You shorten the workweek across the board, like how France does it via overtime laws, but you take it further.

Of course, our Elites would rather have half of us overworked and the other half wasting time all day job searching, so...

Sure...just like how robots were going to make all factory workers obsolete 50 years ago right?

Still plenty of those.
