I desperately need some help from you guys.

I have been working out for about 6 months now and have seen drastic improvements.

Always been real skinny but now I got pecs, shoulders and have a more manly shape.

There is just 1 problem though. My wrists are still scrawny as hell.

I am always embarrassed to wear short sleeves because people actually comment on how girly my wrists look.

I have tried wirst curls, pullups and those little grippy things but all I develop is my upper forearm and my wrist stays scrawny (argh!!!)

How do I develop those thick, construction-worker looking wrists (without the constructiopn job) ????

Are there any isometrics or other exercises I am missing? Kung Fu? Anything?

Please help!

but I HAVE been going to the gym!

Like I said, I have seen great improvement, but I have bad genes. My mom and pop are both very petite and I think my dad has smaller wrists than my mom!!

So I need something EXTRA to boost them up..I almost feel like I have NO muscles around the wrist area...all I feel is tendons.

starting to think my case is hopeless

:(

You have next to no muscles in your wrists and ankles...get used to it. Start looking on the bright side...with thin ankles and wrists, your forearms and calves look HUGE in comparison.

Small joints are a blessing!!!

Once you gain some mass, the small joints give the illusion you are bigger than you actually are. Small joints, small waste, big muscles.

There is no exercise that will make your "wrists" bigger. But you can increase the size of you forearms. Wrist curls...

I have come across this gadget that strengthens your wrists.
I haven't used it yet but i am getting it as its kinda a game aswell. you get a score of how long you can hold it. Its a ball the size of a tennis all and it rotates in your hand and does some thing else blah blah blah.
Apparently lots of golfers and tennis players etc use it!

Its called the power ball.

There is such a thing as spot-addition, though I've certainly never heard someone name it. You've never seen an unproportional fellow? To further simplify, if there wasn't such a thing, one would just do bicep curls every workout, and grow every where. :p

bicep curl is an isolation workout it involves strictly your bicep and will not make it "bulkier" like squat/dl/bp will because they're compound

all it is is make the bicep like a hill, or rather,
"push" your bicep to your shoulder

What the hell are you talking about? A squat is never going to make your bicep bulkier. And if it makes it "push" out, exactly what would it be doing, beside bulking? I don't even know where to begin, but what you just said couldn't be less true.

i think you misunderstood me, i never said a squat will make your bicep bulkier (as if thats one rep or so)

i meant squats can make your entire body bulkier, not just your arm (along witht he other two)

isolation, i mean it takes your current bicep muscles and "pushes" it away from your elbow/forearm/joint, not add more muscle to your because you cant get "big" with isolation workout

either that or its those things that make sense in your head

No, you could certainly add a good amount of size to a bicep through bicep curls alone. Though, I would agree heavy compound movements involving the back work too. Also, I don't think there's anyway to push a muscle away from the bone like you say.
