Is this AFC wussy, or not at all?

In my LTR of about 5 months, my GF got surgery with something on her leg. We're both in HS and she has to talk around with crutches and a brace now. I see her at the end of the day so I'll usually carry her books to and from class, and go with her after school to her locker and classes where she needs to make up work. As her BF, it makes sense i'm helping her out right? It's not like she can carry the books herself? I get the feeling im being this needy, wimpy AFC but then again..she is my GF and it'd be nuts for me to not help her out when i can.

Am i right or wrong, i think i just need some reassurance here.

If she seems to really appreciate it then keep it up since its ur LTR. If she seems to be taking it for granted then back off and let her figure out how to work a backpack.

If you take off to class when she actually "needs/wants" your help that leaves it open for some douche to come in and make you look dumb by helping her when u wouldnt.
