Is this a vestigial relationship?

So ever since I started to gain a bit of mass, everyone looks at me in a different manor.

Girls especially, I just get stared at in every single place I go to. (Sorry if this is coming off like a toolbagdouche thread but im curious about this). Is this purely a looks things and girls are just simply that shallow (lol I know they are) or is it some vestigial relationship. As we all know the alpha was the biggest guy, just take a look at a lion the king of the jungle, so does that relationship carry over even though we are quite difference than our ancestors?

I've even gained more respect from guys too. People who used to bust my bawlz back in high school now try to be nice to me and make me a buddy. Wtf is that? Same principle?

Lets have a discussion on this topic. What do you guys think?

Vestigial implies that the function is no longer necessary, like wisdom teeth and the appendix. Goosebumps are vestigial, because we don't have enough hair for us to look big when scared, or to create a layer for trapping warmth.

We aren't that different from our ancestors. Like, at all, very little evolution has occured for us in 2,000 years. People act anthropologically the same way that they always have sans cultural differences. It's still good to have someone strong take care of you so they can defend, and it shows all sorts of positive, accomplishment-oriented behaviors in the individual.

Guys respect you because being truly fit (big/lean/ripped -whatever your goal is)doesn't happen overnight. I work my ass of at the gym 6 days outta 7 so I know the kind of determination and discipline it takes - not to mention the diets. In order to achieve 'physical strength' , you must have a proportional level of mental strength. The shape you're in is basic proof of those qualities. Guys ,consciously or subconsciously ,appreciate and respect these traits , as they are those of a leader - an alpha.


As a general rule , people nowadays are either fatasses or in the process of becoming just that. Take a walk on the street and actually look around to spot a fit guy. One that really looks good. You won't see many. So that's why you get the eyes on you. You're different , you stand out. You're interesting because you brake the usual expectations. Much like the green dyed hair guy that walks into a venue.

You're 20. Nothing at age 20 matters or is a reflection on life beyond childish school antics. Take it from a guy who was your age not too long ago and remembers the score.

Life changes like you wouldn't even begin to believe after 25. So don't get caught up in anything now, it doesn't really matter.

i understand the meaning. its there but serves no purpose as of now but if evolution were to shift in the other direction it would be used eventually if selected for. For example. why can viruses penetrate cells and the cells don't have a defense against them? Some scientists believe they once had a relationship that was beneficial but something in evolution went wrong causing the relationship to remain the cells still have no benefit and no defense.

Actually Zion, just got back from the gym and all I saw was plump round women it made me kind of sad where this world is headed lol.
