Is their such a ratio used to compare the 1RM of the 3 core lifts? I've been wondering if my chest has been falling behind my back and legs, and it would be cool to know where other people are at. Thanks for any help.

you can use a 1RM calculator... you throw in weight and reps performed and it gives you a *general* idea of your 1RM.... this can kinda tell you if your lagging.

I don't even know the basics of what your on about

I do know that if you feel one body part is lagging behind another, just do a days worth of sets doing only fullbody workouts(THAT MEANS ABSOLUTELY NO FOCUS ON MUSCLES, MUSCLE GROUPS NOR MUSCLE SETS) Workout your entire body without weights, and do them slowly.

Your body will tell you whether you are lacking or not to an unhealthy level tending towards injury. Whichever muscle region starts to burn like crazy, whilst the other bounds with no remorse for your muslces. Than you will know which region you are lacking and can focus on strengthening

I think he means ...

For example...

If his max deadlift is 200 lbs... what approximate max should he have for squats based on the average lifter.

Like maybe guys who lifts 200 lbs deadlift average about 300lb squat for a 2:3 ratio deadlift to squat.

And the same thing for chest to squat... or chest to deadlift... or all 3 compared to each other.

I really don't know; I made those numbers up. But he wants know the typical lifter's ratio between those 3 lifts. Just HOW strong your chest should be compared to your legs etc. (of course people will be different... but on average)

why don't you post your three lifts.

if you say 150 lb chest, 300 lb squat, and 400 lb dead... i'm gonna tell ya our chest is laggin...

other than that... each person's different yo
