Is the suduction community is becoming corrupt?

It seems that since Neil Strauss published his "The Game" that the community is going down hill. More and more people are comming on her giving some F***ked up advice. It seems that we see more and more sh*T these days than 6 months ago.


What do you guys think?

I wouldn't blame "The Game" completely, but there is a heavy PUA influence that relies on a lot of gimmicks and theory, and distracts from the fundamentals.

Most guys come here with engrained issues with women or personality flaws, but instead of learning what they are and how to overcome them, they get caught up rehearsing mind tricks and openers instead.

That's how I see it anyway.

being a DJ is improving your self/your inner game/making your life better. Being a PUA is more of being a con artist/pick up lines etc. Being a PUA doesn't help guys improve themselves.

Im not saying to hate them but... women in general aren't worth fighting over, and losing friendships, and dying... especially if your not married to them.

I don't get it. I agree that PUA is pretty weird sh!t, but the idea that DJ is about becoming a better man? Where did that come from? Outside H&F and AE, does anyone talk about anything other than how to get a girl or "The Game"? Maybe sosuave started out with the idea that it was about becoming a better man, but that's not the case today. Maybe by getting girls you can become a better man. Let's call Don Juanism what it is: a way for guys to get girls.

You obviously haven't read it, since the people who fought over Katyah were in Project Hollywood. Ross Jeffries was not only not in Project Hollywood, but he despised Mystery as well as the RSD crew. David DeAngelo was also not in Project Hollywood, although you might have made a typo and meant to refer to David X, who also wasn't there.

Only Herbal, Papa, Playboy, Tyler Durden, Mystery, and Style were consistently in Project Hollywood, with Playboy the least. Of these, only Mystery and Herbal were at odds with eachother over Katyah.

I guess im not the only one who thought the game was crap book. i read it and it contains nothing but lame pickup lines and magic tricks , i mean what the hell is a magic trick going to help you with except entertain the females and at the end of it all they will offer you a fake number.
These pickup artist are frauds and i dont believe they are that good at pickups they overly lie and dont forget that they can pay some woman that act like they seduced them in other to take your money when you go for the so called workshops.

There have been rumors of "shills" being present in the field during workshop outings for quite some time, but I haven't seen any solid evidence of it yet.

It wouldn't surprise me though, as weekend workshops cost up to $2,500 these days, and if people don't get immediate results, they'll post negative feedback and a guru's reputation, along with his income, can deteriorate quickly.

So what's to stop a PU guru from hiring a couple of hot chicks to be present at a bar/out in the field and react positively to some geeks using the Mystery Method (for example) after being pushed into a set?

Maybe someday, someone will write a real "exposé" on the "community" and the frauds will be exposed.

I agree that paying these guys to learn how to be some chicks "entertainment monkey" is a waste of time and money, but there are those desperate enough to go for the quick fix, which might even get them temporary results, but the road to becoming a DJ and becoming a desirable man is much more difficult and time-consuming than what one can learn in a weekend bootcamp/workshop.

Note: I'm not in any way accusing Mystery of using "shills" but just used his name/method for demonstration purposes in the above example since he is so well-known and most readers will be able to identify with him.

Maybe I should have used Ross Jeffries instead. LOL
