Getting the silent treatment is never a good thing. We know that. But do girls only do this when they're mad or they're not interested? We talk about sh*t tests and the many forms they come in, would a girl dare silent treatment a guy they might be interested in for a short period of time to see what the guy does?
I ask because this past week, a HB8 who has shown obvious interest mentioned us hanging out this coming weekend. We agreed, and that's where the interaction ended. In the few days since then, HB8 has gone completely silent. She's an outgoing person, but when I've run into her, she won't even say hi. I texted her an inside joke a couple of days ago, also nothing. However, she did favorite a tweet I posted and thought it was hilarious. Ok then.
I've faced the silent treatment from girls who weren't interested before. It's irritating, but it happens. Some girls do this if there's another guy in the picture, but I know for a fact that isn't the case this time. But to my point, a girl expressing such high interest and then immediately shutting it down? Odd. Any merit to it being a sort of sh*t test?
