Is kenneth Cole shoes really that bad?

I know theres a lot of people here who dislike Kenneth Cole shoes because i heard it is cheap and bad quality. Well i have a KC black peacoat from Macys and it is pretty decent. I bought a kenneth cole brown oxford play it cool oxford shoe online that i will be receving tomrorwo and may return it back if i don't like it. I got it on sale for 80 dollars when the retail price was about 180.

I don't have a lot of money so I am not one of those guys who pays 300 dollars for a shoe. I will see how the shoe is tomrorwo when i receive it but why do you people hate kenneth cole so much? Should i even be embarrased to wear it b/c i seem to feel taht way b/c you guys here say i rather wear xxx than wear KC shoes. I'm only 21 and i am pretty certain most of you guys here who give advice here are at lleast 25 here and most of you guys are around 30 or so.

Should i feel bad to wear Kenneth Cole brown shoes even though i'm 21? I always thought kenneth cole was an okay brand b/c it gets advertisements but i heard about the quality etc from you guys. Because i would never laugh at any guy wearing kenneth cole shoes b/c at least it has a name. I don't really care if that long b/c if i start making a good amount of money, then i would get those AE shoes you guys rave about.

So should i really feel ashamed to wear it? If i never came to this forum and just wore Kenneth Cole shoes, i would feel pretty decent. But i doubt most men/women have that much fashion sense as you guys. Do normal people look at your shoes outside in the street and say look he's wearing Kenneth Coles, hes definitely not stylish? Because i feel like the only people that might think this way are those VERY into fashion.

I think I'm the only person here who dislikes KC, and most people like them because of the name branding and maybe the aesthetic. They are cheaply made (corrected grain leather, glued soles) and then highly overpriced as a result, which I feel makes KC a duplicitous company. I have a pair of similarly cheap and plasticky Bostonian captoes that I wear with jeans all the time... they're a little nicer than KC but they were $30 instead of $180. Women won't vomit on you when they see you in your new shoes - I know a lot of girls who really like KC.

I'm 21 and had a pair of KC loafers with the disgusting box toe at one point - I don't think you have to be 25+ to choose quality clothing.

Keep doing your thing and asking questions. If you don't know, it's better to ask than to spread bad knowledge :rock:
