Is it normal for MRPs to cause gas?

Well I've been working out now for about 2 months (4 days/week) at a gym w/ a personal trainer. Everything is fine except the MRPs I drink give me a lot of gas--I'm pretty much farting all day--and I usually sh1t like 2-3 times every day.

Is it normal for this to happen or am I just using a crappy MRP? I'm using Reeves Nutrition MRP. It has whey protein & some other goodies in it & I drink it 3 times / day. Once in the morning, once before I workout & another before bed.

When I prepare it I use 4 pieces of ice & mix it in a blender. Would the blender cause air pockets & create gas? Or is it the MRP itself?

Lots of protein = lots of gas/number 2's! :)

I feel like that now after eating a load of peanuts and a half glass of milk! its normal mate.

Go back to solid food, then add the MRP gradually again over a couple of weeks. Also sip it don't chug it.
