Here's the story :

Me and X met on the bus, went out a few times and started seeing each other regularily. On our first date she told me that she is a virgin (@21). I was expecting things to go decent, I would just chill for a couple weeks and then **** would be good... this woman is great in most other areas other then the no sex for a while.

The problem is that despite not wanting to have sex, she can't go a night without having a conversation about sex, and that she will do just about anything but sex, using religion as the main reason for not wanting to... (me being atheist told her about 50 reasons why waiting untill marriage for sex is pure folly, knowing that it wasn't going to further my cause by the way.

I've already told this woman that I was going to be excllusive with her, because we had been dating for about a month and had no other prospects at the time... the next weekend, I got 3 girls numbers without even trying. Then, I get a call last night with a girl that I had nexted because she wasn't showing enough interest. Who says "I want to get drunk with you next weekend." "Yes." I replied in a devilishly monotonous voice.

So, I was thinking of my options. I want to keep X around, I don't want to feel guilty for cheating and then telling her in a few months by accident. I wanted to know if that is very harsh to tell a women, "I don't want to break up with you, but I can't be exclusive with you if we aren't going to have sex."

Do you want sex or a relationship? Personally for me I won't go for exclusivity unless she expresses such intrests and then she has to show me her qualaties

Telling her in a few months by accident? Just dont tell her...and also, sex is important IMO so you should get it somewhere. I feel the same about this as trajhenkhet.

She had definately expressed that she wanted us to be exclusive... I'm looking for a relationship, but a relationship is incomplete without sex... you know what I mean.

depends on your character I guess.

I'd sleep with the other girl and not tell the one I'm going for a relation with..

but then again I've done it before while I was in a relationship with a girl that was like normal in the beginning but turned into a one-itis and it was the worst feeling I had when I had to tell her I had cheated her in the early days.

and that happend after I broke up with her.

lol @ her sister - Imma vote that.

It's cheating when u are going 1rst base or further with a female that is NOT your steady girlfriend (as in female u are exclusive with)

IMO, it's cheating if you wouldn't do it in front of your GF.

Kind of odd if she is using religion as an excuse yet still doing anything but sex. The STD risk is still the same, and the attitude is a little hypocritical. Medically, oral sex, hand sex and anal sex are still sex. I plan to abstain from all until marriage, and find a wife who has done the same.
