Is High Standards a Bad Thing?

I'm a unattractive guy who suffers Marfan Syndrome. But I always have hope that I'll find an attractive woman someday. At the same time, I found myself in shame of having this hope.

So is high standards a bad thing? I tried not to be ugly, but it's not easy to deal with my genetic disorder.

Women have lower standards on looks. Probably way they have a much larger pool of men to date than you have.
