2200 calories per serving????? What the hell?

If you want to gain weight, just make sure you eat more than enough through your diet. If you're lifting hard and not gaining weight its becasue your not eating enough! Don't waste your money on crap like that when you can get results through real food.

If you're an ectomorph (really high metabolism) you can eat almost anything and probably not gain much fat, just make sure you eat adequate amounts of protein...

I agree...

you would be better off buying whey protein and just eating more food during your day... for example I take 5-8 servings of
this a day, along with 2-3 extra meals when I am bulking..

Whey protein and high GI carbs are great for a post workout shake, but i would never use whey protein as a replacement for a meal

there is nothing wrong with a good weight gainer.

weight gainers are a great way to add in calories to a diet especially if you are on the run.

i do suggest getting most of your healthy proteins/carbs/fats from food, and dont mess with supplements until you get your diet/exercise/rest straight otherwise you will be wasting your money no matter what you buy

nothing at GNC is worth the price.

Go for NLarge2 and they should have it at dpsnutrition.com or maybe its dps.com...

anyway NLarge2 tends to be effective w/o some of the added bloat many people experience on a weight gainer

if you have trouble finding it just let me know.

I tried it (since i work at GNC) anyway im gonna tell u ITS FUCCING DISGUSTING. Look at the label, it has a sh1t load of grams of sugar per serving.

The stuff is nasty and i would not recommend it to anyone.

First thing you need to do is asses your bodytype.\

ectomorph-thin
endomorph-round or plump
mesomorph-muscular

u can be a combination of 2 types

endo and meso's should look for a gainer that is low or moderate in calories fat and carbs ON(optimum nutrition) whey is a good example, taste great, afordable and 23 grams of protien per bottle. enough calories can be abtained from a proper diet and is usually chear, whey and other high protien sources are food for a quick fiq after o workout or in between meals or even acompanying.

ectos are the only one who weight gainer are actualy recomendeed to because of the rate at which they burn up calories but even then 2000 is way too much. with that you shouldn't eat anythin else for the day. and the protien carb ration is way off balance. I suggest you look elsewhere. Post on these boards http://ww.bodybuilding.com. I'm sure you'd find a list of amazing supplaments and there's a good board there that u can even discuss about them.

2000 cal is definately too much for one meal

many ppl take their weight gainer in partial servings, and you can always add in some real food if you need a little more protein
