Is dating down almost mandatory?

Needless to say, I'm somewhat frustrated lately with dating. I've dated a few attractive women this year (last year), not runway models but decent looking girls who are within my range. I'm happy with that.

But at the same time I feel like these girls in the same league as me are always looking, or at the very least, open to a "better deal" than myself. They have orbiters, get attention all the time and I'm sure a fair share of the time it's from dudes better looking than me. The obvious counter to this is to have game, stay in shape, have your sh!t together and I'm doing the best I can. But if some other dude who is more attractive "dates down" to a girl I'm seeing then what can I really do exactly?

I just met a girl, who is actually super cool and is highly interested but I'm only slightly attracted to her physically. I'm not trying to sound conceited, but I'm pretty sure that she views me as a good deal from her standpoint, so there is definitely leeway in terms of being able to make mistakes in my game. Definitely not the same case with girls who have way more options and where are more likely to be replaced at any minute than a mediocre one.

I'm not quite sure what I'm asking exactly, maybe just examples/shared experiences of what it's like dating girls who aren't as attractive as you, at your level, and above you. I've done all three and the differences are pretty clear cut in each one. I'm not intentionally acting different towards each type, but I'm just for interests sake analyzing the differences when dating all the leagues above and below you. Any insight?

Nothing bro. You do the best you can. What can you do, be with her 100% of the time and fight genetics because he is better looking? All you can is put your best foot forward at all times and don't take any BS. If she still wants the other guy, let her have him.

Of course, this is true with anything in life. When the client has more options, you have to do a better sales job. Why do you think young girls are so in demand and older ones are not? Older ones can't go anywhere, their SMV goes down every day while young ones are through the roof.

Again bro, its not you, it's life. The hot girls I am involved with I treat like queens, the not so hot girls, if they say 1 thing wrong, I never talk to them ever again.

Women leave their boyfriends/husbands for less physically blessed men all the time. How long a woman stays with you strictly comes down to how much she likes you and how you make her feel. It doesn't matter if your a 10 and she's a 5, if she's she likes someone else better she'll leave. On the flip side I know beautiful women who stay loyal to men who are way below them in terms of looks simply because they have so much respect for the dude.

As for the OP how much money you make and penis size are far more important factors when it comes to a woman staying with you in the long term, more so than looks. Looks play a much more important roll when it comes to one night stands.

Because of who I used to be - I have tons of experience with taken women, and "stealing" girlfriends. I'd say most of the boyfriends of the girls were either better looking or about the same level as me. Most made a lot more money than me. Had more social status, etc.

The one thing pretty much all of them had in common was - they were a pu$$y in one way or another.

generally she won't want to let something go if she knows someone else is going to have it - women are extremely territorial

theres an ugly flip side to this though and thats because in the world of attraction women generally have the upper hand
