Over the years, there's been very little discussion about female pubic hair on these forums. This needs to change.
Porn is influential rends for female pubic hair. I gave up porn and fapping in the 2010s.
It's funny, I can remember a time in the early 90s when getting your GF to shave her snatch clean was scandalous. It seemed to imply that a guy's real desire was to bang prepubescent girls. Shaved pubes was 'niche porn' back then and you'd have to actually seek it out in the print and VHS days. Now it's just incidental, and hairy bushes are the niche.
It was around the late 1990s when I was in junior high and early years of high school that porn stars started moving from trimmed pubic hair to fully shaved pubic hair. I remember getting to college in 2001 and there was high speed internet in dorms and it became easy to find your way into free porn.
Around the time I was in college (2001-2005), this is when the trends of late 1990s porn stars started making their way into the college women of that era. There were more fully shaved pubic areas in this time and in most of the 2000s.
In the 2000s and 2010s, almost all younger women thought a fully shaved pubic area look sexier and that's why they all did. While porn was influential in it, there were female centric media publications like Cosmopolitan discussing it and the Sex & the City women discussed it too.
Back in '08 I dumped a girl who had a smoking body but was totally, and I mean totally unshaven, for that very reason.
That was rare even in 2008. Most hot women under 30 from 2000-2015 were at least trimmed. Majority were fully shaven.
In the last 7-10 years or so, I have noticed women 30+ who were formerly fulled shaved moving towards having some pubic hair. These are not full, unshaven bushes but rather neatly trimmed pubic areas or narrow landing strips.
In 2020-2021, there were a lot of breakups, divorces, and waxing studios closed or restricted so many women experimented with having pubic hair and I think some have kept it going. Also, with less approaching due to indoor masking and less venues for hosting dates, shaving or waxing became less of a priority for some. However, some still needed to shave to impress thirsty guys on Instagram or OnlyFans.
