Is anyone else sick of clubs and internet?

Lately, for the past few months, it's like I've lost all interest in going to clubs. I find it dumb, lining up, then having some a$$h*l3 bouncer think he's so great, then playing this whole game to see if a girl will dance with you or be rude to you and hurt your ego. It also doesn't help that none of my friends are into clubbing, so i don't want to go alone.

The other thing I'm sick of are websites like myspace or friendster. I feel like a spammer and if I'm lucky I get a couple of replies, many are flakey or attention wh0res. Bleh.

Where else is there to go? Does anyone relate to this? I've been considering moving to a major city instead, perhaps more opportunities there to meet people. Right now I live in a city with less than 1 million people.

Move to an all women planet - you'll get plenty of attention - unless they all are lesbians!

1 million people is plenty of people. demographics should stay pretty constant.
moving to a city with 5mil will not only increase the number of hotbods but also the number of paperbag cases.

friendster- stay the hell away. its the internet. teenagers who sit in their rooms on the net all day use this to communicate with thier friends. realy humans know that effective communication occurs when two people are face to face. the net is far too impersonal. and you are right, many are attention *****s. they put thier profile up and then get all thier friends to validate them by posting dumbass comments.

find a hobby. join a club. this will a) get you doing something you enjoy so going to the group wont be a chore b) get you to interface with people with similar interests, increasing the likelihood of you meeting someone you will bond better with, a common interest makes it easier to communicate. also the fact that you will regularly meet people removes the stigma of approaching a random stranger in a club.

Well, just walk around and you will see plenty of women.

For some reason, I see lots of women around ice cream places and movie theaters......

If you want to just meet people....just walk around...it's best to meet people in places that are less busy because it's easier to concentrate on what you say.

I was never into clubs. As far as MySpace, think of it like this... The person is so cool that you had to find out about them on the internet. If you're still weary, don't worry she has a picture of Adriana Lima telling you her good qualities.

the bouncers are paid to be like that, their life is much harder if they seem a bit friendlier.
