http://shine.yahoo.com/parenting/hot-mom-defends-herself-against-facebook-haters-192149769.html

A California fitness enthusiast and mother of three is defending a controversial photo of herself that has prompted a cavalcade of Facebook critics to accuse her of fat shaming women.

<snip>

And while much of the input has been of the supportive “you go, girl” variety, plenty of it has been made up of angry, offended personal attacks on the photo subject, calling her everything from “obnoxious” and “fake” to a bad mom and a bully.
My opinion of the mommy:

My opinion of her haters:

Would bang.

I think the message "what's your excuse" is a good message. It's not fat shaming, it's lazy shaming.

More and more we as a society are pushing taking accountability for your own health.

Of course people will get defensive but they need to get over it and realize that gyms are inexpensive, a lot of them have childcare, and you don't need a personal trainer when the internet has tons of free advice for the taking.

So this is a good thing, like the fact that the fatass riding a beeping scooter through Walmart is now a universal laughing stock......as it should be.

It's all there in the article.

Kang says she works out five to six days a week, about an hour at a time, doing a half-hour of strength training and a half-hour of cardio — running, the stair climber, or a spin or Zumba class. She adds that, while it might seem amazing that she can fit in regular exercise while raising three kids and working, she structures her time in ways that make it all work. She watches no TV, for example, wakes up at 6 a.m., and, while she’s at the park with her children, “I’m working out. I’m not sitting there on my iPhone.” And she gets plenty of help from her husband, David Casler.
Casler, who suffered a traumatic brain injury during a bomb attack in Iraq, where he worked as a private security contractor, is no longer able to work. He volunteers, though, with the Team Rubicon disaster-relief organization.

I do think it's a lot easier for people with unlimited money and time to maintain an exceptionally fit body--especially women who don't work.
There are 24 hours in a day all it takes is 1 of those at minimumto get / stay in shape. you have no excuse to say "I don't have time" even with kids they have to sleep at some point that's when you go into the living room or garage and do a workout. you work long hours? so what I work anywhere from 8-16hours a day depending on what is needed of me at 35-50 degree's Celsius long hot hours starting at 10pm to 3am and I go to the gym religiously.

the society we live in has made no one accountable for their actions, it is too easy to make an excuse instead of doing the hard work and their peers are letting them by supporting their laziness through reassurance when they say that they don't have time to work out while being a mum her peers respond with " oh you poor thing wah wah wah" instead of "so what get off your fat a$$ and take the kid for a run in the stroller, do some pushups situps squats lunges pullups at the park while the kids plays." when someone comes to me with an excuse I tell them literally to FVCK OFF I don't make excuses I make changes so why should I let anyone else? come to me with a reason or explanation and I will try to help you work it out as much as possible otherwise I don't have time for excuses.

She is isn't intentionally fat shaming those other lazy b!tches... but I am glad that it is happening because she has probably inspired at least one other overweight mum to change and that is excellent. The only reason the fatties are getting all up in arms about it is because they don't want to accept the reality of them being overweight and not wanting to do anything about it. It is too easy to say I want the body of my dreams but who is willing to actually put the hard work in to get it? It is amazing that she has done what she has after 3 kids that is 100% dedication *or a really good plastic surgeon haha jokes* this chick needs a high5

“I'm sorry you took an image and resonated with it in such a negative way. I won't go into details that I struggled with my genetics, had an eating disorder, work full time owning two businesses, have no nanny, am not naturally skinny and do not work as a personal trainer,” she wrote, in part. “What I WILL say is this. What you interpret is not MY fault. It's yours. The first step in owning your life, your body and your destiny is to OWN the thoughts that come out of your own head. I didn't create them. You created them. So if you want to continue ‘hating’ this image, get used to hating many other things for the rest of your life.”
Simply beautiful!

I agree with a lot of what's been said above. This chick is hot and who cares if fat bitches are sad or offended. You should be ashamed if you're fat and don't take care of yourself! WTF?

Why does society want us to feel sorry for every piece of shit who doesn't take care of themselves or work hard to get something better? I don't understand why we should excuse everyone who's fat or poor or whatever. Fuck them.

Case in point: I have 5 kids, a demanding full time professional job, and a girlfriend who takes up a lot of my time. I got sick of being a skinny loser a few months ago and started working out every day. I've gained 20 pounds in the last three months and feel a hell of a lot better about myself.

It's not easy, but anybody can do something to improve themselves. And before anyone objects, I'm not saying everybody can look like this woman. But, for Christ's sake, look at some of the people around you. Would it kill one of these fat 200 pounders to cut back on the fucking cokes and chips just a little to lose 20 fucking pounds?

Seriously, the animosity against this woman comes from losers who are too lazy to do the slightest thing to improve themselves and expect the whole world to validate their laziness. Disgusting.

Fat girls that don't get laid in high school turn out to be the meanest feminist cünt bags the world will ever see. Even if you're a stay at home mom, you still gotta have the discipline to do the exercises day in, day out. Mommy's got a bangin body!

Wow, I would have never stumbled upon this had I not seen it here first.

So being in shape is even being attacked by the feminazi brigade.

So being a wohre is now a positive and being fat is positive. I can only assume being a pennyless, Jabba-The-Hut slut will be the ultimate trinity of these no-responsiblity-taking nasty btich bloggers.
