Evidently, some folks think so ...

And to think, that 15 y.o. Jewish girl ended up going against her father's wishes and marrying a Russian in "Fiddler on the Roof", set in the early 20th Century! Even my grandmother got married at age 17 (to a 35 y.o.!) during the Great Depression! What barbarous times women lived until now! :moon:

Let me get this straight - because a woman under 25 has not had enough time to "develop", she should be off limits for an "adult". I suppose that such young women should not be getting pregnant, thus leaving about an 8 year window to get pregnant (i.e., some women start to significantly lose fertility at age 33).Recent research has indicated that the prefrontal cortex, the part of the brain responsible for impulse control, planning and organization, continues to develop until around age 25.
