Go for it if you know you'll have the social value and know you're confident enough to keep the girl interested in you and not the other guy across the room.

It's not really a date, per se. It's a good chance to get something started with her, though.

Like search1ng said, you need to have social value at the party. Make sure you interact with everyone, men and women. Don't spend the whole time with the girl you bring.

She'll probably be hit on by other guys, so you need to keep building attraction with her. Don't chicken out of making a move.

EDIT: About phrasing:

"Hey, I'm going to my friends' party on Saturday, you should come with me."

Oii its a great idea! ....since she doesn know anyone there u get to introduce her to ppl!......she will be hangin on u as social comfort, make frnds with all the guys, joke around with girls and just have fun!

and i dunno why this picture just popped in my head, but remember the movie "The Girl Next Door" -Elisha Cuthbert ;) ...remember how the dude chickened out a lil then her just walk back as confidently as f****in possible brushing between ppl and pushin the 2 guys hittin on her out of the way a lil then just held her face and layed a deep kiss on her!;)

fyi this is the first time i ever post advice on here, cause i literally think this is a great idea.

Peace

Lol it makes for a good movie scene, but in real life, You'd probably get your ass beat up and kicked the fvck out of the party!

Actually, bad idea.

Find somewhere isolated so you GET to know each other.

You'll get more control of the situation, and how you want the first date to go down.

If anything it's not direct or needy enough. I get critiqued that a 'hey I'm going to xyz wanna go with' approach doesn't frame the invitation to mean anything more than a platonic request. Granted you don't want to use the word 'date' or anything like that either, so something in between may be needed.

Take a girl to a party for a first date sounds too difficult to manage, but I'm sure some people can make it work. I just feel that while you can get social proof, you also need to entertain your date and make sure she doesn't get swept up by another guy.

Also make sure it's not a sausage fest. Ugh.

Inviting a person for a Date of Group date, direct or needy, assume she's expecting that you like her. Well if that's the case idea is not bad. Just show your best foot forward and let her feel that shes safe while with you.

This is a good idea only if you are going to leave the party after a little while. THEN go do something more exclusive.

If you're there all night, you spent the whole first date in a house full of people. This doesn't give her enough context to relate to you in.
