I surf the web in my spare time,I come across countless pages that at first glance seem interesting, or I don't havbe the time to read them yet...

What sites do you guys usually visit for new information, and what do you search for on the web?

Does anybody have some good keyword suggestions for me?

my latest search

Turned up some interesting topics, and a ton of articles about 'seduction' that I never seen before...

That's an example of what I am looking for... are there other information junkies out there?

Probably the best tip for google is to quote phrases that you want locked together

you will get much better results if you type in:

"getting laid"

than if you type

getting laid

The quotes treat the enclosed words as one phrase and Google will look for that exact phrase for you. Totally revolutionized how I do research!

I am beyond "getting laid" and there are not many SLANG words I search for anymore, just words people use to describe research in short terms...

I am looking for keywords and descriptions...

Does anybody have a negative description creator? I can open a dictionary to a word and get a description, but to find a word that would fit into a situation perfectly I have to rack my brain. I research on a regular basis(hourly almost) and am always looking for new competent, useful, fun, and exciting sources.

Thanks for the quotation mark tip though, I learned about that like 8 years ago, it stops getting useful after pages get disqualified that would have helped a ton before... damn that sounded stupid:confused:

This is going out to docs... since he's such a proactive guy

I have about 60-70 of my favourite threads that have influenced me saved as shortcuts to web pages... I want to sort through them and add the gold picks to your thread.

What is an easy way to save the links to this site without copying, pasting and waiting for all of them to load?

I prefer to procrastinate since it eliminates so many erroneous duties:D

He wasn't suggesting searching for those words. He was suggesting using quotes with your search terms for better results.

Seduction isn't really something you can research on the Internet anyway - you're better off learning through experience in the field after you learn the basics taught on this site.

*tips hat out of Old School respect*

The Shifter is on point, you are becoming obsessed with the intellectual aspect of seduction which is a small percentage of actual game. If you had done an approach for every google search, you would be on another level right now, IMHO.

I spend a great amount of time researching... I sarge everyday as well. I fight for a balane between expanding my life, learning how and what to expand, and experiencing 'seduction'.

If you read again and realized I said I was beyond "getting laid" you would have heard that. Unless I have to explain again in different strings of words.

I search with quotes a lot, but that's not what I search for, hmmm. I search for quoted sayings sometimes, but they still do not turn up the word I am LOOKING for. I try time and time again using different combinations of quotes and words. Some words turn out duds with the words taking on less significance than "TRUE"(SP?) words.

I have been fighting for useful knowledge for a long time, and keywords I have found carry the most oomph. People make very dedicated sites that they name with care. If the technique, mindset, and life experience, due to a certain condition(emotion), are different than mine I unconciously want to spend more time learning the subject and I put the information on a back burner.

I have found hundreds if not thousands of sites in my time that I want to read and read. I take what I read out into the field and practice, I laugh at the similarities. Than I go back again and learn and read some more.

How do I find things that will blow my mind?

In response to the question of saving as bookmarks, you might be interested in a site called furl.net

Furl stands for file url and allows you to save links and organize them. I like it but I find i rarely go back to review what I saved. Even so for the few times I did, I found it very helpful!

Thanks ricky I'll try that out tomorrow when I make some time...

alright my latest google search was for module... what does module mean to you? I am searcdhing for it since I know that in school I recieved class modules... and I am hoping there would be interesting modules to focus on (I found a skull module, and am making mental notes to fire when something that is useful and informative is brought to my attention)...

"Results 1 - 10 of about 154,000,000 for module. (0.53 seconds)"
"Results 1 - 10 of about 126,000,000 for module. Search took 0.19 seconds"

My problem with these simple searches is that I find so many things interesting, that there are several factors I want to avoid. I don't want to find contradictory information or my brain might explode! I don't want to get WRONG information or my logic will become flawed! I don't want to find stupid information, because it's just more work for my though bouncer! and than some...

I want somebody to teach me search methods for finding information, I am going back to university, and I want to be at the top of my game when I finally step back into the field. Are there scanning approaches, like using yahoo for extra keywords...

I get information like this, and than start to click through each choice... and something in my mind clicks that I should be searching for a certain type of module that is not included in those options... google gives deeper webpages, imo than yahoo, yahoo gives me great search options and groupings by discipline.

I come onto this site, and I get brand spanking new acronyms and slang. There are subjects that I could write entire pages on, and this site has programmed the entire subject into ONE WORD for most cases. I am looking for combinations of words that have previous studies on these cases based on human behaviour.

like AMOG, Push & PULL, EC, ambiguity, anchor, ***** shield

no search engine helps me ask the right questions!
