Interesting turn of events

i was out last weekend with a friend of mine and we ran into a girl we both know. she was with some friends of hers and she mentions that she wanted to "hook me up" with her friend Cristy(this girl is like an 11 on the scale of 10). so me being a straight and normal guy i was deffinatly willing to allow her to proceed.haha well iw alk over there and start talking to everyone at the table(her included). the only problem was there was this old geezer who kept coming up to her bothering her and just standing there. she never would acknowledge his presence unless he tapped her on the arm or something. this guy does this to girls all the time so we all knew how he was. her and i were talking and laughing but i just had the feeling she wasn't interested or just saw me as a friend. i just got the vibe, so i never bothered to ask for her number or anything, just tried to have a good time all night really. so fast forward to last night and i'm out with some friends of mine and guess whos at the bar? yep, Cristy, but shes on a date i think because it was her, her two friends i met the other time, and some dude id never seen before. i didnt go up to her or anything because i didnt want to mess up her date, but i did walk by and give her a little playful nudge on her arm when i walked by and she smiled and did the same back to me. my friends and i ended up leaving not too long after that and went to another bar. we were there for about 10 min playing this punching machine thing that's addictive. it measures how hard you can punch or whatever, it sounds lame but if you ever tried it youd be addicted trust me. so i see someone out of the corner of my eye walking up to where we're at and guess who it was? yep, Cristy. no date anymore apparently. we talked some more and joked around and i talked her into giving the punching thing a try. when it was my turn i told her "ok, if i hit 300 or better on this thing you have to go on a date with me). she agreed and i ended up getting a 475 or something. i was acctually joking about the whole thing, but to my suprise she goes "well let me see your phone so i can put my number in there so you can call me". we're supposed to go out next weekend. iw as just shocked because last weekend i thought i had no chance but this weekend she came up to me and i basically got a date with her with no trouble at all. her whole actions were more flirty this weekend then last, so maybe the fact that i didnt try too hard last weekend helped i dunno.

Don't count your chickens just yet. Let us know how it goes in a week from now if you actually go out. I've been in your shoes and I know from experience you are probably getting your hopes up a little, and that's well and good to be excited, but the fact of the matter is if she's as hot as you say she has options. Lots of options. A lot can happen between now and next weekend.

Try going out this week and hitting on other women. If it were me, I'd schedule some other dates for the night when you're supposed to go out with her, this way if she flakes it won't sting as much and you'll have options of your own. SPIN MORE PLATES, as they say.

It seems like unless you're rich or a special kind of loser, 11s are super hard to game and are almost guaranteed to flake. It's like you only get one shot with them and it had better be out of the park, for most of the time they have the attention span of a two year old and you'll notice her phone never stops going off. But they like to be treated like dogs, right?

We always advise seeing other women, I'm sure you know that. But that can lose it's luster when you're sitting there thinking, "Yeah she's ok but Cristy is so fvcking hot!" Even if she does flake, remember that her looks are usually all she has to offer and in time she will be more bitter than you can imagine.

But still, knowing this, if I see one that really strikes me I will throw myself in that fire and go for it.
